Looked at the townhouse today that we had an appointment for. I didnapos;t like the layout..seemed really tiny and no dishwasher or central air...only 1 bathroom and tiny.
Wanted to look a one at Apple Creek Station in Swartz Creek. The layout looks really nice and has a basement and washer and dryer and central air. Ofcourse they are all full..even the large apartments so we gave the lady our name and she put us on a list for a townhouse. From what we have looked at and read about these a townhouse would be perfect there. We arenapos;t planning on moving till around January so maybe something will open up.
We looked at the largest apartment they have at Fox Hill Glen..they call it a Manor. It was beautiful with 2 bathrooms...high ceilings..mirrored wall in living room...2 walkin closets and everything we needed but no washer and dryer. That was the only bad thing. You have to use the community washer and dryer 3 flights of stairs down that takes quarters. The layout was really nice and it was spacious. The lighting was cool and everything looked new and super clean. If we did move into one of these we would have to get almost all new furniture to match the white modern style though which we plan on doing eventually anyway.
We stopped to look at another place out near Swartz Creek but they only allowed one cat so we didnapos;t even bother looking at a place there.
We arenapos;t in a big hurry to move but we are going to eventually and we are starting to look now and check out what we can get. We are rather concerned since Chris is currently unemployed and has shitty credit. I know they do credit checks. We have quite a bit of money in the bank from his severance and he gets unemployment and I work full time. We are kinda wondering if its gonna be a problem. Maybe he will have a new job by the time we are actually looking to move. But the not good credit thing may be a problem. We have been renting this modular from his Mom for at least 4 years. Anyone know anything or have any advice about renting and credit checks with those kinds of places. Are we gonna get denied?
Gotta make dinner soon. We found some other apartments that we are gonna look at hopefully this week. They are close to us and they have a 3 bedroom for a decent price and a 2 bedroom with a basement as well. I wish we could find some cute houses to rent. Maybe we should try to look for some.
